The innovation company Codilac ehf was founded in 2013 after securing second place in the Golden Egg competition for its solution "Automatic Customer Behaviour Tracking & Analysis." The company developed software that measured consumer behavior in retail stores and was supported by the Technology Development Fund.
In 2017, the company began collaborating with Tæknivörur ehf and later Elko ehf to develop the service system Flexus, which manages all electronic device repairs and related operations.
